The Process
You are welcome to book your session right from the website! For newborn sessions, I recommend choosing a date about 2-4 weeks out from your due date. We can adjust the date when baby arrives if needed. I recommend booking maternity sessions for around 32 weeks.
01. Book your session
Once you've chosen a date online, you will be able to complete the short questionnaire, sign the contract, and pay the retainer fee.
02. complete booking info
You’ll receive a welcome guide filled with all the good stuff—what to wear, how to prep, and what to expect—so you feel calm and ready. I’ll also help you choose a location (and yes, I’m always happy to peek at outfit options if you need a second opinion!).
03. Plan with confidence
On session day, there’s nothing you need to do but love on your people. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but mostly I’ll let the connection unfold while I capture the magic of your family that’s already there.
04. Show up and soak it in
Within three weeks, you’ll receive your full gallery of hand-edited images ready to download, print, and relive all over again.
05. memories delivered
Whether your toddler’s on the move or your newborn needs to eat halfway through, it’s all welcome here. I approach every session with flexibility, patience, and zero pressure—because real life makes for the most meaningful images. You don’t need to bring perfection, just yourselves.
Little ones don’t need to be perfect, just present
Newborn sessions are offered in the comfort of your home or at my favorite natural light studio in Sherwood, OR. Family sessions are typically held outdoors during golden hour (hello, dreamy light!) or at a location meaningful to your crew. These can be done in-home or in the studio too, if you prefer.
Where do sessions take place?
Most families book 2–3 months out, especially for newborn sessions. If you're expecting, reach out early so I can reserve your due date and adjust the session timing as needed once baby arrives. Newborn sessions are always flexible, since babies come on their own schedules.

How far in advance should I book?
Honestly? That’s totally normal, and totally fine. I’m a mama too, and I come prepared with patience, flexibility, and zero expectations. Some of the most heartfelt images come from the in-between moments you didn’t plan for. That being said, I recommend you bring snacks to help!
What if my toddler doesn’t cooperate?
